Dana has spent more than 15 years working with a variety of domestic and exotic animals at some of the nation's leading animal organizations. She is experienced evaluating and rehabilitating dogs of varying breeds, sizes, and dispositions. Working with Dana gives you a greater understanding of what's really going on inside your dog. She immerses you fully in the training process, with a goal of helping you learn as much as your dog does. Dana takes the mystery out of "dog whispering" by showing you how to communicate effectively with your companion. Her goal is to set you and your dog up for a lifetime of success.


​Dana is a crossover trainer, meaning she is experienced using all the training methods available to pet parents today. She is committed to bringing you force-free behavior solutions you can live with. Dana believes the best relationships are built on mutual respect and understanding. She Graduated with Distinction from the Karen Pryor Academy for Animal Training & Behavior, and trained under Victoria Stilwell. She is a prospective student for Malena DeMartini's Separation Anxiety Training Certificate Program.

Dana is a Contributor for the Shelter Playgroup Alliance, a published Pet Blogger, and has worked for the nation's leading animal organizations, including:

Dana graduated from Regent University with a Bachelor of Science in Organizational Leadership & Management. She is a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT 200) and enjoys hiking with friends. She grew up in the Washington, DC suburbs and is fluent in Spanish. Dana shares her home and practice with rescue dog, Hope Rising.
